It's the holiday season! And, with Thanksgiving right around the corner, NCAAN has joined forces with the North Carolina AIDS Action Network (link to http://www.ncaan.org/) this week to give an extra special thanks (and some much deserved recognition) to individuals and organizations that do some extraordinary work in HIV/AIDS prevention, education, advocacy and care.
NCCAF thanks:
- Edgar Villanueva
- Student Action with Farmworkers
- Hertford County Public Health Authority
NCAAN thanks:
- Josh Wynne
- Dee Dee Richardson
- Triad Health Project
If you would like to send a personal note of thanks to any of the individuals or organizations we're honoring, please address it to thankyou@nccomunityaidsfund.org and we will be happy to forward it on your behalf.
All the individuals and organizations selected for recognition mentioned, in one way or another, "being only a part of a much larger movement." This statement is both modest and true; without the work of thousands of committed community members, we could not have accomplished many of the successes we see today.
